Food Lovers Paradise

Islanders love to eat, and with amazing local produce on our doorstep you will understand why!!

Alderney is abundant with the highest quality produce. Whether it’s an unimaginably delicious scoop of the Island's Kiln Farm Dairy ice cream, cracking a whole crab in one of many restaurants, collecting a fresh pint of milk straight from the island cows, a fresh beef steak in a fine dining setting or a taste of Alderney Roots freshly dug chemical free vegetables, our local produce is of the highest quality and readily available.

Alderney Honey
With an array of wildflowers the island is reportedly one of only two worldwide (the other being Hawaii!) that is completely free of bee diseases and a perfect place for happy and healthy bees. That’s why Alderney honey is so divine!

Hedge Veg
You’ll often see 'hedge veg' stalls full of delicious, locally grown fruit, vegetables, eggs, flowers, home-made jams and chutneys - just simply put the amount due in the honesty box!

Thanks to its abundance of produce and our love for great food, it is no surprise that Alderney has nearly 30 cafes, bars and restaurants making the most of what the Island has to offer, from fine dining restaurants to friendly cafes. Your biggest decision will be deciding which to try next!
