Bibette Head is the site of some of the most interesting and best-preserved German defenses in the Channel Islands.
Thanks to the effort of volunteers who have cleared area you are now able to explore inside.
With extensive information boards, this site – with its intact trenches, tunnel, armoured machine gun cupola and casemated gun positions – offers a remarkable insight into the fortification of the island. Bibette Head can be found at the western end of Saye beach.
Always open to the public, remember to be safe and take a torch.
